Hi Prashanth
Your username/password is the one which is provided by BSNL with the connection. You can find it out by logging into your router admin page (http://192.168.1.1) with admin/admin credentials. If your configuration uses dialling software, then it would be inside the dialer. If you dont know the password , you will have to call customer care. The server address is the IP address which you use to check bb usage logs. You could try one the IP listed by default.

Hi Avaneesh
According to me, a rented flat is a better option when you and 2-3 of your friends want to stay together. It turns out pretty affordable too (3-4 k per head). In a rented flat you can be the way you want to be. You could cook your own food. You could get your parents/friends to stay for a few days with you etc. But a hostel is a better option when you want a quick acco like when you are new to the city. But on the long run you would want to shift to a flat. Most of them usually do that. Selecting the right hostel is also very important. Some of them just go in for a hostel which has a lot of facilities like internet, gym etc. but end up never using them but paying for them compulsorily. So finally its upto you to decide whether to have an extended-college-hostel-life or to have a flat and customize it according to your needs. Actually I should have put the line in the post as "I would not prefer" instead of "I would not recommend" :)

Rajiv,
I think you are using the newer BSNL account. I have the old BSNL account and I could not make the gadget work for the new accounts.
